Staff Corner

West End Baptist Church is blessed with a dedicated staff. Although our senior pastor position is vacant, our staff is leading the church effectively while the Pastor Search Committee does its work. The church is growing and ministering thanks to the dedication of our members and the hard work of our staff. Here are some of the folks you will want to know:

Dr. Carol McCann
Carol serves as the Interim Pastor as well as Minister of Education and Youth at WEBC. She oversees the Education Committee as they prepare and teach Sunday School and week night studies for children and youth. Carol plans additional activities for children such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Fall Festival. The youth group stays involved with summer camp, weekends at Eagle Eyrie, assisting younger children events, and other monthly activities.
Carol’s career began with nursing. She felt called into ministry during medical service and spent the next several years earning a BA in Religion from Averett College, and her Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry from the Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond. She served several churches in Virginia before coming to WEBC.
Carol became the Interm Pastor in June of 2008. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
